Fully qualified medical doctors applying under Professional Mortgage scheme

The table below shows the maximum loan to values we will offer.

Applicants with a minimum of 25 months living and working in the UK:

Please note that these are the maximum loan to values we will offer applicants subject to our standard criteria being met.

Be in permanent employment in the UK for at least 25 months and (unless trainee solicitor) not subject to a probationary period (previous and current employment references will be taken).
Be able to demonstrate their ability to control their finances by submitting 3 months UK bank statements.
As each case will be assessed on its own individual merits we may require additional information including the right to continue to reside in the UK.

Subject to the above we are happy to consider applicants up to a maximum of 80% LTV for those in the UK between 25 and 60 months; 90% LTV for those in the UK for more than 60 months. Self employed applicants will be treated on an individual basis.

Applicants who do not qualify for our Professional Mortgage scheme – as above but lending will be limited to 70% LTV.
